A few random facts about Sally...

I'm Australian born and bred but lived in England for six-and-a-half years. Both countries feel like home.
I must create. I'm an author, textile artist and puzzle maker. But photography, gardening, cooking and music are hobbies, too. One year of my childhood was television-free. I read many interesting books that year. When I was little, my dream job was to work in a cattery. A day spent with purring cats? Heaven. And if I couldn't work in a cattery, a lolly shop was the next best thing. Two of my favourite past travel destinations include Zermatt in Switzerland and The Keukenhof Gardens in The Netherlands. Both are stunning. The Narnia Chronicles are some of my favourite books. I've read them at least twenty times each. Cakes make me happy. I like to experiment with new cake recipes, especially for special occasions. Spending time in nature with my camera makes me calm. My Christian faith is important to me. It's my life. My faith-based website is called Shine like Stars. I talk to every animal I meet (except snakes). I'm sure I'm related to Dr Dolittle. I'd like to see a real hummingbird someday. And a platypus. |
